When we are witnessing grave injustice and harm being committed in the present moment, the idea of “healing” can feel at best like a faraway dream, or at worst, a selfish endeavor. A hyper-individualized western world encourages us to center ourselves in our “healing journey” - ignoring our inherent interconnectedness. How do we attempt to “heal” the collective and generational wounds that are continuously being reopened?

In this class, we will re-examine what “healing” means, and open forth new possibilities for alchemizing pain into power through unimaginable times.
